Olivia Luengas Magaña

Directora y DP, estudió fotografía en México, España y Francia. Egresada de la carrera de Artes Audiovisuales de la Universidad de Guadalajara dirigió y fotografió su ópera prima “Lejos del Sentido” con el apoyo de la Secretaría de Cultura Jalisco, el Instituto de Cine de Tribeca y la fundación Grodman.

Director and DP, she studied photography in Mexico, Spain, and France. A graduate of the Audiovisual Arts program at the University of Guadalajara, she directed and shot her debut feature film «Lejos del Sentido» with the support of the Jalisco Ministry of Culture, the Tribeca Film Institute, and the Grodman Foundation. The film was an official selection at festivals such as Guadalajara, Morelia, Lima, and AFI, and won Best Documentary at HFFNY.
