Olivia Luengas Magaña
Director and cinematographer, she studied photography in Mexico, Spain, and France. A graduate of the Audiovisual Arts program at the University of Guadalajara, she directed and shot her debut feature film, “Lejos del Sentido” (Far From Meaning), with support from the Jalisco Ministry of Culture, the Tribeca Film Institute, and the Grodman Foundation.
The film was an official selection at festivals such as Guadalajara, Morelia, Lima, and AFI, and won Best Documentary at HFFNY.
