Christian Baumeister

Baumeister studied biology in Germany and wildlife filmmaking in the United Kingdom. He lived in Brazil for eight years and specializes in filming in Latin America.

In 2001, he founded his own production company, Light & Shadow, based in Münster, Germany. In recent years, Baumeister has earned international acclaim for his wildlife films from audiences and critics around the world.
