Rous Condori Arango
Director and animator. Her work revolves around her Wanka heritage and popular culture, using participatory filmmaking as a tool for self-representation in projects developed in the Amazon, Andes, and Coasts of Peru on socio-environmental issues, Indigenous identities, and gender equality. She studied at Gobelins and L’École de l’image and was selected for residencies such as Mendoza Film Lab and Bolivia Lab. She directed “Yatsi and the Spirit of the River” and the documentary “Kumbiera.”
