Nicole Gormley

Nicole is a documentary filmmaker, photographer, and ocean advocate whose central goal is to tell stories that inspire people to value our relationship with the natural world. She approaches her projects from the perspective of a shared human experience and believes in the power of storytelling to increase empathy and generate impact. After graduating from UCLA with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology, she went on to produce projects in over fifty countries for some of the world’s leading media outlets, including the Emmy-nominated Netflix series Ugly Delicious, as well as dozens of international expeditions for National Geographic and Discovery Channel.
