Natalia Romero

Natalia Romero is a self-taught graphic designer, illustrator, and animator focused on creating 2D frame-by-frame audiovisual pieces. Her practice embraces a slow and meticulous process, understanding animation as a patient and detailed exercise in construction. She is the co-creator of the Embodied collective, where social and environmental themes are explored through creative and audiovisual means, seeking to generate deeper and more conscious connections with the natural environment and the non-human world. Refugia is her first short film as co-creative director and animator.
