Morgan Elizabeth Heim
Conservation photographer and filmmaker Morgan Heim explores the personal stories behind the protection of wildlife and their ecosystems. Mo is particularly passionate about wildlife projects that raise existential questions about the kind of people we will be in relation to it, merging elements of science, nature, and culture. She is a National Geographic Explorer, a Senior Fellow of the International League of Conservation Photographers, and the founder of Neon Raven Story Labs, a production company dedicated to telling stories about nature and our relationship with it. She has received numerous awards, including Wildlife Photographer of the Year, Big Picture, and Siena International Photography Awards, and her work can be found in Audubon, Smithsonian, National Geographic, and The New York Times. Her films, including The Snow Guardian, Deer 139, and The End of Snow, have been acclaimed at festivals worldwide, including the Banff and Telluride Mountain Film Festivals, Wild & Scenic, the International Wildlife Film Festival, and the Olomouc Film Academy.
