Mariano Fernández

He studied at the Argentine School of Naturalists and the Avellaneda Institute of Cinematic Arts.

With 20 years of experience working as a production manager, line producer, and producer on feature films and series, he joined Jumara Films in 2018 and now focuses on wildlife and conservation documentaries, having participated in the series WILD ARGENTINA for NatGeo-WDR (3×48’/2023), HÉROES DE LA CONSERVACIÓN for NatGeo (2×48’/2019), as well as in numerous conservation expeditions in Argentina, Uruguay, and Chile for the National Geographic Society’s prestigious PRISTINE SEAS conservation project.

As a director, he has created the web series “Crónicas Ferreteras” (13×7’/2018) for UN3TV and the feature film “El hijo Dios – A Biblical Footballer Western” (90’/ 2016 – Best Film at the OVERTIME FILM FESTIVAL 2016 / MEXICO).
