Diego Ramos

Diego Ramos Merino is a Chilean filmmaker and cinematographer with a background in geography and studies in Film Directing and Cinematography at ESCAC in Barcelona. His work explores the relationship between humankind and nature, using cinematic language to reflect on landscape, conservation, and our place in the natural world. For over nine years, he has developed audiovisual projects for organizations linked to music, the arts, and environmental conservation, working in both documentary and fiction formats. He directed the television series Silvestre, which intertwines music and nature, the documentary El Huemul de DiCaprio, and has taught cinematography at the Austral University of Chile. He currently collaborates with Rewilding Chile, where he develops audiovisual projects that support conservation initiatives.
