Aurélie Miquel

Aurélie Miquel is a committed filmmaker and photographer. After studying art at the École des Beaux-Arts, she set out to explore the world to satisfy her thirst for discovery. From India to Bangladesh, by way of Ethiopia, Syria, Bolivia, and beyond, she has spent over 15 years observing her surroundings in an attempt to understand life and humanity. She worked for five years as a principal collaborator with Yann Arthus-Bertrand and participated in his film projects, including “Home,” the television series “Vu du ciel” for France 2, and his “The Earth from Above” exhibitions. Subsequently, she traveled the world as director of the “7 Billion Others” project. Today, she makes films and documentaries to understand and experience the world around her, with a sensitive and unique perspective—a curious and artistic one.
