John Roney

John Roney is an underwater videographer and film and television editor based on Vancouver Island, Canada. Passionate about ocean conservation and science communication, he uses underwater filmmaking to connect audiences with the beauty and behavior of marine life, from the frigid waters of the Salish Sea to the remote regions of the Indo-Pacific. In addition to his underwater work, he also serves as a film and television editor, with recent credits including Sony’s SeaLegacy: The Voyage and APTN’s upcoming series Racing Waters.
